Purchasing Administrative / Technician

DESCRIPTION

  • Evaluation and selection of suppliers;
  • Negotiation of purchases with suppliers - quotation requests;
  • Make requests for services/purchases according to preventive scheduling;
  • Carry out annual consultations and agreements in order to guarantee the best prices;
  • Follow up and carry out purchase requisitions (requirements and specifications, as well as delivery deadlines and conditions);
  • Receive, register, analyse purchase orders and make deliveries by section;
  • Keeping and registering inventories;
  • Control costs according to general objectives previously set by the Administration (Budget).

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Results oriented and problem solving skills;
  • Strong ability to plan, negotiate, organise and control;
  • Knowledge of at least 1 language (English preferred);
  • Immediate Availability - preferred.

 

EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum school education of Grade 12 in Logistics Area or Management/Accounting, preferred;
  • 1 year experience in a similar position;
